The Kiama Lighthouse is a popular tourist attraction located in the coastal town of Kiama, New South Wales, Australia. It is situated on Blowhole Point, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Kiama Harbour.
The Kiama Lighthouse was first built in 1887 and is still standing today, although it has been automated and is no longer manned by a lighthouse keeper. The lighthouse is a white tower and stands 36 meters above sea level. It is a popular spot for visitors to take photos and enjoy the views of the ocean and surrounding area.
In addition to the lighthouse itself, there is also a museum located on the site which showcases the history of the lighthouse and the surrounding area. The museum features exhibits on the maritime history of the region, the local flora and fauna, and the geological features of the area.
