The Capitol in Madison, Wiscosnin reflected in the horn of a sousaphone (a modified tuba that can be played while walking). These sousaphones were part of a marching band participating in the St Patricks Day parade.

I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Madison, WI, with images from around the world. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in New Brunswick, Canada, and Socorro, New Mexico, before moving to Madison. I am trained as a geologist, and still teach introductory geology classes (need to pay the bills somehow).. The love of the outdoors has strongly influenced my photography, initially in Australia, but then in the the NW Territories of Canada (I was there doing geology), and the desert of New Mexico.
