On th banks of the Reedy River in Greenville, South Carolina a winding stone pathway leads through a well-tended garden filled with colorful flowers and greenery. Large rocks and shrubs add structure and variety, while trees and a lamppost stand in the background.

I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Madison, WI, with images from around the world. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in New Brunswick, Canada, and Socorro, New Mexico, before moving to Madison. I am trained as a geologist, but have now retired from teaching introductory geology classes. The love of the outdoors has strongly influenced my photography, initially in Australia, but then in the the NW Territories of Canada (I was there doing geology), and the desert of New Mexico.
