Artist's Description
A natural sandstone arch is the center piece of the Natural Bridge State Park. The opening is 25 feet high by 35 feet wide. The arch is located in Wisconsin's Driftless Area, which was missed by t glaciers in the last ice age.
About Steven Ralser
I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Madison, WI, with images from around the world. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in New Brunswick, Canada, and Socorro, New Mexico, before moving to Madison. I am trained as a geologist, and still teach introductory geology classes (need to pay the bills somehow).. The love of the outdoors has strongly influenced my photography, initially in Australia, but then in the the NW Territories of Canada (I was there doing geology), and the desert of New Mexico.
