The statue of Abraham Lincoln in front of Bascom Hall, the admisntrative center of the University of Wisconsin, Madison.His feet have been polished by visitors who rub them for luck. New UW graduate sit in Abe's lap for a classic photo op.
About Steven Ralser
I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Madison, WI, with images from around the world. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in New Brunswick, Canada, and Socorro, New Mexico, before moving to Madison. I am trained as a geologist, and still teach introductory geology classes (need to pay the bills somehow).. The love of the outdoors has strongly influenced my photography, initially in Australia, but then in the the NW Territories of Canada (I was there doing geology), and the desert of New Mexico. Now I find the beauty around where I live in Madison. If you live in the Madison area, contact me, and I can print images for you (save on postage).
