Artist's Description
The bridge taking the Lower Yahara River Trail over Lake Waubesa, Madison, WI. This bike trail follows an active railway corridor and connects the Village of McFarland with Capital City Trail. The trail also includes the longest boardwalk bridge constructed of a non-motorized transport in North America.
About Steven Ralser
I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Madison, WI, with images from around the world. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in New Brunswick, Canada, and Socorro, New Mexico, before moving to Madison. I am trained as a geologist, but have now retired from teaching introductory geology classes. The love of the outdoors has strongly influenced my photography, initially in Australia, but then in the the NW Territories of Canada (I was there doing geology), and the desert of New Mexico.
