The second half ofthe inscription being the bench which surrounds the stature of Lincoln in front of Bascom Hall, on the campus of the University of Wisconsin, Madison. "and in that faith dare to do our duty". The first half is "let us have faith that right makes might" (also available as a photo).

I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Madison, WI, with images from around the world. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in New Brunswick, Canada, and Socorro, New Mexico, before moving to Madison. I am trained as a geologist, and still teach introductory geology classes (need to pay the bills somehow).. The love of the outdoors has strongly influenced my photography, initially in Australia, but then in the the NW Territories of Canada (I was there doing geology), and the desert of New Mexico.
