Description
One side of the 1st floor in the rotunda of the Capitol in Madison, Wisconsin. The mural, made of intricate tile work, is entitled "Liberty" (one of 4 murals around the rotunda). The prominent dark green columns are made of serpentine, the floors and red horizontal banding are dominantly marble. The red columns in the bottom right are red granite, the Wisconsin state rock.
